Renaming wp-content breaks WordPress backend in fresh installation

Hi,

I just installed Better WP Security on a fresh installation of WP, but when I attempted to rename wp-content, I got the white screen of death in the admin area. Tested on a second install and the same thing happened!

Any ideas? :/
