Renaming wp-login and question about editing code

    Hey!

    Yesterday I had a problem with being blacklisted, as i was searching on the forum i saw a thread that was alive and discussing this issue. as i was searching they just uploaded the new update. I went to my wp admin and refreshed, no update, refreshed again and there we have it, an update.

    I updated it, whitelisted my ip and the blacklist issue was gone

    TOPIC SUBJECT: After the update. I am unable to rename wp-login.php to anything i want. It worked before the update. I resaved my perma links, in the settings it says it saved, it doesnt give me an error. its green. it also shows the name i entered saved in the textbox. but under it says “current login url is wp-login.php.

    What can I do to solve this?

    Also, Is there a way I do not loose my translation everytime i update the plugin? I updated it and i noticed every change ive done to the code was reverted. All language translations were also reverted. Is there a way to edit all messages without having to edit the core code of the plugin?

    Hi,

    The reason the WP login isn’t working for you is because you have white listed your IP address. If you would rather not have your IP white listed, ensure that your IP is removed from the automatic black list (under IP manager) and then delete your IP from the white list.

    Yes! thank you so so much. I did not see that new orange button in the new update, i had to scroll down to see it. Thanks this solved it!

    I would definitly translate now and then to swedish, as a thank you for this amazing plugin.
