After purchasing a site with BlueHost, I installed WordPress to https://www.site.com/blog. I later decided I wanted to change the name of the site and URL to simply https://www.site.com. Under my admin page (General/Settings), I changed both options to https://www.site.com. However, https://www.site.com still shows up as the BlueHost landing page and https://www.site.com/blog appears discombobulated/plain text, not in the WordPress format. I’m also unable to login as admin anywhere now to try and fix this. The discombobulated/plain text-looking blog page does not have a link to login anywhere as admin. How could I possibly re-enter as an admin anywhere and also how do I get my WordPress site looking normal and directed to https://www.site.com? Thank you.

  • You need to actually move the files. You need to move everything in your /blog folder to be in the folder for site.com. Bluehost has there File Manager that you can access from your cPanel. That will allow you to move the files.
