Ik heb het precies gedaan zoals in het filmpje, en de opmaak ziet er, volgens mij, ook hetzelfde uit als bij hem. Toch geeft de Google speedtest nog steeds dezelfde fout. Kijk hier: https://i65.tinypic.com/11m49hd.jpg.

Ik switch even terug naar het Engels Stijn, zodat mee-lezers hier ook iets aan hebben ??

So the render-blocking warnings you’re still seeing are;
* jquery.js
* dashicons.css
* 2X google fonts

This means that your main CSS indeed is not render blocking any more, so that’s good news.

Now to fix jquery: you could try removing js/jquery/jquery.js from AO JS optmization exclusion. if your site still works (which it might not), you can leave it that way, else you’ll have to live with jquery being render-blocking

For dashicons.min.css; this is normally only loaded for logged in users and is excluded from CSS-optimization as it caused issues. Can you check if/ why your theme (or a plugin) would load dashicons on the frontend?

For the google fonts; try ticking the “remove google fonts” option in AO or install the “google webfont optimizer” plugin.

Can you tell me where to look for the https://www.stijnspreekt.nl/…includes/css/dashicons.min.css?ver=4.6.1 line? I wanna fix that one also, at last.

based on a quick test, dashicons is (only) used for the stats icon in front of the “keer bekeken” line on posts, it’s introduced by “post view counter”. We could make dashicons disappear completely, but it might tbe better to ask the developers for a solution that does not require dashicons being loaded? ??

Ahaa you right! I deactivated the plugin, but the score didnt went up after multiple tests, so i activated it again.

Hey Frank, do you have a code, or good up to date plugin, for me to optimize below Google Fonts lines? I wanna keep them ofcourse, but just optmize them.

ahaha ok. Well, i mean a exerpt to optimize the Google Fonts, without removing them, probably just move it. I did see some codes on some forums, thats why im asking you.
