It is also true that some bots disguise themselves as regular browsers, and unfortunately there is no way to tell if they are being honest or not: only javascript (which is run on their end) can help in those cases. So, long story short, you might be getting more “false positives” now that you are using Server Mode.

Did some more experimenting, this time with Stealth Mode set to ‘Off’.
I noticed that the renderblocking error for the CDN script was removed while using the default theme for wordpress. Any idea why this could be?
I’m using my own theme (it’s more on the simple side, but it has wp_header and wp_footer which I thought would plugins).

You may want to compare the two HTML source codes (your theme vs the default one) and see if yours is adding or enqueueing more scripts or links than the other one.

I’ve found that disabling the “UniteGallery” plugin removes the scripting as well, however I rely on this plugin pretty heavily so I would prefer keeping it.

If it helps, I am using Autoptimize with SlimStatParams in the exclusion list for scripts.

I also understand if this is too vague for you to come up with a solution with, but I’m just trying to bounce ideas off you to see if you have encountered anything like this before, as I am still trying to find a solution to the overall problem.

Unfortunately we haven’t seen anything like this before. But it is possible that UniteGallery and Slimstat combined trigger a false positive…

Found a solution by installing the “Async Javascript Optimizer” plugin.
