    Hello,

It s been weeks that I m looking for a plugin to rent products that way (link below) with WordPress, and with woocommerce if it possible:

There are Pickup and Return date & time boxes and it shows the final price.

The only plugin I found which looks ok for that is the “RnB – WooCommerce Rental & Bookings System”. But it s very buggy, the final price is not even shown, the time doesn’t always work, etc.

I also tried all the most famous plugins like Woocommerce Bookings for example… but it is not good for that, and most are done to book rooms, not products (like cars, bikes, etc) .

Does someone know a way to create a “simple” rental system like in the example above ?

You can try using woocommerce custom fields.

It s possible to do that kind of rental system only with woocommerce custom fields ? How can I do that ? Do you know a website, a tuto or anything else showing it ?

I am not sure how in-depth you want it to be, but with custom fields, you can add a date pickup date field, and set the product as a variable product to rent by the day. Then the customer would choose how many days, and select the date of pickup. that assures that they get charged the right price and when you get the notification of item sold, it will have the date of pickup so you know when to have it ready. You can also add custom fields for any other information you need such as phone number, email address, etc. I am not sure of any tuts or sites currently doing this, just thought it would be a good easy solution.

Actually what I would like to do is this :

20$ for 2 hours (minimum) + 5$ per extra hour
    40$ per day

    So for example : 2 days + 4 hours = 80 + 30 = 110
Also (this is secondary but I d like to set that) if someone rent the product during more than 6 hours, it will cost more than a day (20 + 4 x 5).. So it has to automatically switch from 6 hours or more to the day price.
