Reorder DIVI Search Module using Custom Field

I have a DIVI website with many antiquarian books in different categories – I want the user to be able to rearrange the results of a Search (by category) by price: highest -> lowest, or lowest -> highest. (The default list is sorted by the date the post was published)
If I create a custom field “price” using a plugin (recommendations please), how do I use this custom field to achieve my goal- another plugin? (Again – recommendations please). Thanks.
