Reorder event list?

Hi! I’m wondering if there is a shortcode parameter or other recommended method for reordering the events as they are listed into a page using the [eventspot] shortcode? Currently they are displaying with the last date first, and I’d much prefer to have them listed with the next upcoming dates first. Thank you!
