I am building my catalog and have arranged the Categories in alphabetical order. I would like to also arrange the products in alphabetical order based on manufacturer’s name which I put at the front of each product name.

I’ve read that you can drag the products into the order you want but I can’t seem to get them to move out of the order I entered them in.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Regards,

    David

Got this one figured out too. Didn’t realize the order is changed within the Categories tab. I was trying to do it in the Products tab.

That said, I still have a problem. If you look at my page https://appletechtalk.com/shop2/, you will see that the Cameras section has two blank spaces among the products. The interesting thing is, if I reorder the products Z-A, the blank spaces go away. Go back to A-Z sort and the spaces return.

Sorry for all of these questions but this is all pretty new to me.

    Hi David,

In your product catalogue, if you check. Your product in catalogue under camera section “Arlo smart home indoor” product has more height than other product thumbnail. As per default css all thumbnail heights are set to auto. By using this custom css code you may resolve this issue.
    .upcp-thumb-item{ height: 300px; }

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, adding that css did not resolve the problem. I have changed the image file and even tried it without the image at all and the blank space still remains.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi Davidschwartzer,

Can you please confirm that you have added that custom css in a Catalogue? You can go to “Catalogue” Tab and select catalogue you have used in that page and paste css to Custom CSS text area and click edit catalogue.

Thank you for the clarification. No, I did not do that. I had added the CSS to the theme CSS tab, not the catalog.

I will go back and try it again and will advise.

    Appreciate your help.

    David

I added the css into the correct locvation in the catalog and it has corrected the issue. Thank you for your help.

    Great plugin.
