Reordering the teams list

  • Hey Mark,

    I’m working on a site with this widget & I’m trying to find out how to reorder the list of teams – you see the client wants the teams to be in alphabetical order and they appear to be in a random order.

    How can I go in and alter the order of the teams that are shown on the sidebar widget.

    Note: I am somewhat new to WordPress and I am by no means a coding guru, especially not when it comes to scripting.

    Hi ALEvancho,
    If you go to the Display settings page, you can order by rank, win percentage and points. There is no capability to order alphabetically since every standings table I’ve seen orders from first place to last place. I will put “order alphabetically” on the list for the next release. In the meantime, you can kludge up a workaround by giving each team an alphabetical rank (a->1, b->2 etc), ordering by rank and hiding the rank column. That’s the best I can think of right now.
