Hi @jviseur, thanks for getting in touch!

It’s my understanding that the WordFence API error in this case is down to a hidden file, which wasn’t so common in plugins/themes in the past.

Do you have a copy of the reason given by the scan to confirm whether the file can be safely ignored or will need to be modified/deleted manually?

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Not sure where to get that info from but if I look under details I get following:

    Filename: ../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/packages/woocommerce-admin/dist/chunks/32.style.css
    File Type: Plugin

Details: This file belongs to plugin “WooCommerce” version “6.7.0” and has been modified from the file that is distributed by www.ads-software.com for this version. Please use the link to see how the file has changed. If you have modified this file yourself, you can safely ignore this warning. If you see a lot of changed files in a plugin that have been made by the author, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to force an upgrade. Doing this is a workaround for plugin authors who don’t manage their code correctly. Learn More

The other file that has an issue is 9.style.css

The file permissions are ok and I am able to view / edit the file using filemanage

As a side note. I can click on “view file” but when I click on “view differences” I also get the API error.

Also it is flagged as a medium issue.
