• Hi there,

I’ve had to change a lot of files, mainly index files.
The website looks fine but I can’t access the wp-admin any more..
any tips of how to fix this?

    this error message appears:

Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lucid-direct/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 17

Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lucid-direct/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 17

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/apache/php/lib/php’) in /home/lucid-direct/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 17

    many Thanks,

    Tajo

  • Rather than trying to figure out which file isn’t loaded properly, you will probably have a better result from just reinstalling the WordPress core files (after making a backup).

    Hi ancawonka,

I think I will do this, as the site is working right now and I don’t need to add anything until next year..

I’m going to back everything up and then start again..

    and get better security!!

dont bother with the backup, them files are ruined..unless you do an export of your pages an posts.. do a downgrade so it overwrites all your wordpress files and then upgrade again if you like
