• Hello, for the last few days I have been receiving notifications that a user was locked out for trying to login. I check the Live traffic and I see that someone from some network is trying to login once every second. I choose to block this IP. I also add this IP to my Cpanel’s CSF deny list. Nevertheless, that continued for days.
Today, the location and the IP were changed. From USA to UK. Again I have asked Wordfence to block the user but I don’t see any change and the notifications are still coming in.
I am also using Cloudflare so I changed the way Wordfence is getting the visitor’s IP to the Cloudflare option.
What is even more weird is that I am visiting the website with another browser (not logged in) but I don’t see my visit in the Live Traffic panel.

  • Hi scudyscud,

Are you still seeing this problem? I think you were on the right track changing the way Wordfence gets IPs. That is normally the first thing I try when running into similar issues.

    Let me know.

I had to disable and remove Wordfence and tried another plugin instead, I am afraid.
