Repeating form validation messages

If you have multiple fields missing you get the same error message repeated multiple times at the top of the screen. Is there a way to include a shortcode for the field name in the error message? so rather the “This field is required” shown 5 times at the top of the form we can show “Email is required” and “name is required” etc.
