Repeating Title on Homepage

  • Homepage title appears to be repeating itself :
    Site Name | Site Description Site Name | Site Description

    I have Add Meta Tags plugin installed but this doesn’t seem to be the problem – deactivated it and the title is still repeated. Changed to another theme and the problem goes away. Where should I start looking?

    Forgot to add – all other titles appear okay. Problem is only on homepage.

    Never mind. Decided to try another plugin – Yoast SEO and everything is fine now. Something in the Add Meta Tags plugin must have screwed things up.
