Replace default slider with Metaslider – how to?

    Hello,
    Since there is no way of achieving multilingual text in default theme homepage slider, is there an easy way to replace default slider with Metaslider.

  • You can post into the page content. if your home page is a static page.
    That would be my recommendation. You can also use a child theme and edit the font-page.php

    The next theme version should have support for string translation in the slider.

    Thanks for the info. When next version is expected? Also, do you plan to ad support for different target URL on every slide, per every language? Can you explain what are you plan to do in few words. Thanks.

    P.S. Thanks for the tip about posing into page content. That was obvious solution that I did not think about.

    WPML and poly lang have string translation options. You will be able to go into that page of the plugin settings and translate the captions in the slider for each language.

    Working on it today. It will be uploaded in a bit and then you can download. It has to be reviewed so you won’t see the update link for a couple days.

    Well done. Seem like it works OK. I’ll have to test in fully in following days, but I am closing this issue now.
