Open the package you want to update. Then remove previous file(click ‘x’ button in panel head) and upload the new one. After that update the package and all done.

Thanks Shahriar, Cant seem to find that x button. All we can see was attach file box on the right hand area (Upload, browse, url) tabs/ Is that the panel head?

    Thanks

Sorry, my mistake. I was referring to Pro version settings. However, just upload the new version and update package. Done. No other steps required.
    Thanks.

Thanks Shahriar we did that, but the file to be downloaded would be doubled. For example:

Existing file 1 to be change: sampledoc.doxc

we want to replace it with: ourdocument.pdf

if we will upload the new file, there would be two files and automatically zip when downloaded, meaning two files would be downloaded:

sampledoc.doxc (old file we want to change)
    ourdocument.pdf (new file we want)

    Thanks

Actually it will not be doubled. You will be able keep single file only.

Hi thanks we have tried it already. Once we upload a new file it became zip file and the content of those zip file was the old one we want to delete and the new one we want to have.

    Thanks

In that case I need to check it in your installation, may you please post here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/forum/download-manager-free/ to discuss it in details.
