Replace existing video with new version

    I think that this is a WP question but I’ll try to get a tips from this community..

    We have 100+ videos where about 50 of them need to be updated. Could you give a tips on the best way to do this? We want to keep the URLs ??

    Vimeo has a function called Replace this video and it works like this:

    Use this if you would like to replace this file with a different version. Stats, comments, and likes associated with this video will not be affected.

    Any ideas if this is possible via the media library or a plugin?

    I think the simplest thing would be to keep the same filenames and just use FTP to upload and replace the new videos. WordPress won’t know anything has changed.
