Replace fax icon by WhatsApp icon

I would like to replace fax icon by a WhatsApp icon, preferably a coloured one.

When I inspect the icon, it seems to be some kind of an ‘awesome font’. It apears as soon as one types something in the Customiser > Fax-field.

My tech knowlegde is too little to figure out how to do this.
– I could include the icon as a .png in de text-field (it accepts HTML), but then it doesn’t align very nicely. And I don’t know how to hide the fax icon.
– I could replace the fax icon, but I have no idea how. I supose in the template.
