    Would it be possible to replace the header image with a video?

    The suggested size is 725 x 400 pixels under custom header.

    Ah… ok so using a video, definitely you can. Use a text widget with the video in it or if you have a video widget plugin.

    Ok, the header isn’t ‘widgetized.’ How do we go about this?

    Perhaps there is a misunderstanding here… if using the WordPress Header function, only images can be used, no videos. So if you want a video instead, you need to use a widget and publish it to the Banner position.

    I understand what the intended function of the header function is. Since you suggested the widget option for a video I would like to know how to go about following your suggestion and override the intended setup with a widgetized setup.

    Maybe I’m missing something here….?
    The banner widget position already exists which sits below the social icons and above the main page content. Were you looking to put this somewhere else?
