Replace image zoom button like in portfolio gallery

This buttons customized in gallery hover settings. You can enable hover template and define there which exactly button do you wish to have on hovered image and styles for this custom buttons could be defined as inline styles or add some CSS which defined in css files.
Gallery template could include links variables, titles, descriptions or captions.

I had the same question about navigation in portfolio gallery. Where I can find this template field ? I have opened gallery settings, but on bottom I see custom CSS field, not template. Please help.

You need to scroll down to the gallery hover settings and there enable template option, where you can customize hover layout for gallery images. You can remove some hover elements on image overlay or change position of this elements.
In gallery hover template option you can use HTML tags and custom CSS styles. You can add SVG elements or standard parts of the gallery interface which could be inserted by build-in tags.
