Replace just a portion of a string?

If I want to replace all instances of
https://mywebsite.com/various-pages
with
https://mywebsite.com/various-pages
will entering just “https://mywebsite.com” in Search for and “https://mywebsite.com” in Replace with leave the remainder of links (ie, ‘various-pages’ in my example) as they are?
In other words, does this Plugin amend just specified portions of different strings?
