    Hi Tobias,

Thanks for your great plugin, this is a feature request ?? I don’t think it’s been asked for before but others might also find it useful if they frequently upload multiple tables.

It would be nice to be able to upload multiple tables at once in a ZIP file but instead of having them added as new tables make it replace existing tables if the filenames matched the existing table names.

    Kind regards
    Scott

    Hi Scott,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, and I would also like to have this, but unfortunately, there’s no reliable way to achieve this, I’m afraid. The problem is to get a proper “connection” between which file from the ZIP archive should replace which table on the site ??

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Shame it’s not possible ?? I suppose matching the filename to the table name is not reliable enough as the table name could have changed.

If you ever think of a way to do it I think it would be a great addition to your excellent plugin!

    Hi,

correct, the file name in the ZIP archive is not reliable enough, as that could have changed (due to renaming or some weirdness in the ZIP archive), and as the table ID could have changed ??

Sorry that I can’t offer a solution here at the moment.

    Regards,
    Tobias
