replace the default comment box

  • Hi,

    I am new to wordpress and I would like to know how to replace the default comment box. I am yet to find a different comment box but I am not sure how to replace the default one with what i find.

    please guide me.

  • Are you using the Twenty Ten theme?

    If so, in comments.php, look for comments_form(), and then check out the documentation for a guide on customization.

    if you are designing your own wordpress theme, you should add a customized template for comments. You can have a look at the Twenty Ten theme for example. or you can also take a look at the Aurelius wordpress theme source code from Pengbos.com. It has a customized comment box instead of using the default.
