Under WP1.5, I used Redirectify to build a couple of pages that automatically linked to another site/directory. The theme I’m using created these as tabs, which made for really handy switching between content (e.g. I had tabs for my blog, my wife’s blog, a separate corporate/work blog, and a couple of misc static pages). Unfortunately, Redirectify relied on custom fields, which per other posts, seem to have gone away as an option in WP2.1.

So the question: does anyone have a suggestion for how to have a static page automatically redirect to a different site?

Huh? No. Custom fields are still there. They have not changed to any great degree in 2.1. They may have changed a bit since 1.5 (I never used 1.5, so I dunno), but they are definitely still there in 2.1.
