Might not be the proper place to ask, but for those folks not happy with the new BLC 2.0, what alternative broken link checker plug-ins are you considering?

    Hi @windracer,

I hope you are keeping well.

Please be advised that despite the recent update, it is still possible to utilize the previous engine or plugin version that remains a part of the Broken Link Checker’s core. Please find the same at WP Dashboard >> Link Checker >> Broken Links (old).

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

@windracer|s question is still valid, IMHO; Version 2.0 is beta and v1 still included. But that won’t last forever – at some point v2 won’t be beta anymore and v1 will be removed …

    Hi @pixelverbieger

It is correct, we will keep focusing on V2 and give maintenance on V1 but not implement more functionality to it however, we don’t have any ETA to remove that even though V2 is out of beta.
