    Hi there,

I’m using the WP Tiles plugin with an Oxygen Child Theme. My question is:

How can I place a tile gallery on my homepage – that is, rather than having to click a post in first in order to then see a tile? I saw a comment on the plugin page that said that with the new 2014 theme, you can replace a featured image with a tile – but the plugin indicates that this is an option with any theme.

    Thanks for your time!

    Hi @notsosweetpotato!

To get WP Tiles on your homepage, you have to set a static page as your front page. (see this) Then on that page you can place the [wp-tiles] shortcode and add any content around it you may need. That should do the trick!

    Cheers,
    Mike

Is that possible with a blog as the home page? I am using the inborn theme at https://www.juangorchs.com and I would like the blog post, which uses tiles as the image to also use the tiles as the featured image. You can see on that page, if it is in the blog post itself, it is limited to the margins of the blog post, but if you scroll down on my page you will see how a featured image is stretched to the whole width.

Is is possible to get the tile to stretch to the whole width, i.e. work as a featured image?
