Hi, I am trying to replace images in bulk. When I upload images with the same filenames as images in a folder, it adds a -1 to the name instead of replacing the file. This makes it look like a thumbnail to the addon so it is not shown, even though it uploads. (I can see it in ftp)
Is there a way to do this I am missing?

WordPress has a mechanism for dealing with duplicate file names in the folder, by adding a number to the end of the name. So if you want to replace images, don’t upload them through the media library. Upload them directly to the folders via FTP and overwrite the existing images. Then using Media Library Folders, regenerate the thumbnails for the replaced images.
