• I modified a few theme pages before learning that I should instead create a child theme. How should I best replace the original pages? Should I delete the theme page or two that I modified and upload new, original ones, doing both tasks with an ftp client? Or is there a better way? I’m afraid of crashing or knocking down my blog.

Maybe I can just remember the mods I made and unmake them… Not sure.

  • I would copy the theme files modified over to the child theme – then delete modified files and upload fresh ones ro parent theme

The entire files, Samuel? The whole style.css, or just the mods? The entire functions and single post, and everything, or just the modified parts.

the entire file of any files modified only
