I have been unsuccessfully trying to override the default “404.php” page on a website.

I tested this new 404-template on a “beta” website and it works just fine. When I replace the live site with that same page, however, I get the “Ever feel like you’re in the wrong place?” page featuring the guy with the orange Hawaiian shirt. Even when I delete the 404.php page.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong or how to fix this?

    Thank you in advance!

Try using the redirect 404 plugin.

have you checked your .htaccess? check what file is defined as the 404 page.

ricardusexa: Will that plugin conform to the current look I have to the site?

ItayXD: I can’t find the .htaccess file.
