Replacing the footer

    Hello,
    I am working with the free version of Elementor on this site, for the first time.
    A CHILD theme of Twenty Seventeen.
    What I want to do is design a new footer, and there is a plugin for that – but it doesn’t work with Twenty Seventeen yet (only as yet works with 5 themes).
    Here is the page with the general explanation. I don’t quite understand how to implement it here:
