Replies notifications sending to noreply@domain

    Plugin is working perfectly for notifying new topics, however I want it to notify the post author when any replies are made. (standard bbpress ‘subscribe to receive replies’ tick box doesnt seem to be working’)

    Installed WP Mail Logging to check whats happening – they are being sent to noreply@domain.

    tried installing ‘bbPress auto subscribe for new topics and replies’ and still has the same problem.

    any idea what could be causing that or how to fix? Not sure if its a bbpress issue or NNS.

    noreply@domain is a bbPress thing. In version 2.6 they stopped looping over the recipients and started using reply@domain for the To field, and all recipients in the BCC field.

    Since version 1.12, bbpNNS has the ability to take over core subscription mailouts, but you have to check the ‘Override Subscriptions to Forums’ and ‘Override Subscriptions to Topics’ options to take advantage of the feature.

    When Override is on, bbpnns adds forum/topic subscribers to the list of recipients, notifies everyone using the bbpnns topic/reply templates, and stops core subscription notifications from being sent at all (so no attempts to mail noreply@domain).
