Reply to candidates via the WPJM dashboard (and not via email)

Hi,

I’ve installed WPJM and the associated paid WPJM plugins on my site.
I am missing one bit of functionality that I’m hoping you can assist me with. Can the employer and candidate communicate solely via WPJM?
Ie. The candidate can apply for the job in WPJM and then in the Jobs Dashboard the employer can see the messages. However the employer cannot reply through WPJM, they have to do it using their local email system.
I need it for my site and I think that being able to reply via WPJM would be useful in two situations:
1. Where the employer for some reason wants to remain anonymous until they are ready to invite a candidate for an interview
2. Where email communication may get stuck in spam filters or not delivered at all.

Can you please point me in the right direction? Is something like this on the roadmap or do you know of a plugin that does this?
