    Hello,

    I have 2 questions:

    1. When I received a contact form and click on reply email it shows my website email address in reply email. But it should be the users email who submitted the contact form.
    2. I am using buddypress and WP Forms SMTP. How can I use 2 different for these 2? Like I want to receive buddypress email on 1 email and other contact form emails on another email?

    Regards

    Hi @pankajjangir,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    For question 1:
You could use Smart Tags to set the Reply-To email to what the user enters into the Email field. In case it helps, here’s a screen recording showing how to do that.

    For question 2:
Are you referring to conditional notifications? If yes, please refer to this tutorial

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

The first answer helped me to fix my first issue.

But the second one need the premium membership.

Can I use plain email ([email protected]) instead of {admin_email} in the Send to Email Address?

    Hi @pankajjangir,

Thank you for your patience here.

Yes, you can absolutely use your email address in the “Send to Email Address” field under the notification settings. You can also add multiple email addresses as comma-separated. Here is a complete guide on Notification Settings.

    Hope this helps!

Email separated by comma is not working. I am getting email on Admin Email only.

    Hey @pankajjangir,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hi @pankajjangir,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation (please just see my post above).

    Thanks!

The issue is not resolved yet. I am able to add the admin and another email is to input, but I receive email on admin email only.
