    Hi again,

    Everything seems to be working like clockwork. I did however find one strange issue (minor).
    When we reply to orders coming in our mailbox it wants to reply to our own domain iso the customer. This means for the time being we manually copy their e-mail from the order and paste it in the “to” field.

    Is this normal behaviour? The previous plugin I used did allow “reply to” with the correct reciever.

    It also happens for other forms on the website (CF7). When they are send to our inbox and I reply the reciever is always auto filled with our own mail iso the mail adres from the customer sending and inquiry/placing an order

    Reply to is something I specifically checked was working with Contact Form 7 and Woocommerce emails and it was working for me so not sure what’s happening here. I will try again, but I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t still work. I do know that on some mail clients the reply-to option isn’t read and it just fills the address with the 365 domain address. Outlook however reads the reply-to option correctly.

    @edwardcross the only non-standard thing I am doing is sending it to our alias e-mail adres iso the main one from where people get their mail.

    Example: customers get order confirmation from “info@….”
    We get the order in our “order@…”.

    EDIT: I tested in on our main CF7 contact form and the same issue is present. When I reply it replies to our own adres. So it isn’t an alias issue.

    @edwardcross have you had the chance to look at this reply behaviour?
    My collegue finds it a little annoying to copy the mail everytime before replying.

    Hi @dyin, so I’ve tested again with Contact Form 7 and WooCommerce and the reply-to works. The reply-to header is present in the email and is read by Outlook when clicking the reply button.

    I can’t therefore test what the issue may be (if indeed there is one), as there is no issue my end.

    Stating the obvious perhaps, but I assume you’ve checked the reply-to setting in the contact form 7 mail settings is referencing the correct form variable?

    If you look at the source of the email sent (the bit that shows the email headers), is there a reply-to entry?

    You may want to try deleting the plugin completely and downloading again.

    @edwardcross I am having the issue with CF7 reply-to and Woocommerce reply-to.

    This is what the source looks like for a CF7 message:

    <!doctype html>
    <html xmlns="https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr" lang="en-US">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii">
    <title>Informatie aanvraag via Baniwafels.be</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <p>Van: Redacted <redacted<@redacted.be></p>
    <p>Bericht:<br>
    Hallo bani wafels</p>
    <p>Private message<br>
    redacted</p>
    </body>
    </html>

    The name of the person is found in the header but not the mail adres. I will try deleting and reinstalling later.

    Yes, as I say, I’ve tested both of those and there is no issue with the reply-to functionality. The reply-to header is correctly set for emails sent from both plugins (and my mail client populates the correct email when hitting reply). Hence I don’t believe this is an issue with my plugin.

    That isn’t the email headers/source, to get that you need to do this within Outlook (the process may differ for other mail clients): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/view-internet-message-headers-in-outlook-cd039382-dc6e-4264-ac74-c048563d212c

    Do you want me to send the complete header? This is what is set in the header:

    From: Bani Wafels & Truffels <[email protected]>
    To: Bani Wafels & Truffels <[email protected]>
    Subject: Informatie aanvraag via Baniwafels.be

    So it doesn’t seem to be correct
    Same goes for the order mails from the site

    From: Bani Wafels & Truffels <[email protected]>
    To: order <[email protected]>
    Subject: Nieuwe bestelling: (13074) - 28/05/2021

    I will reinstall the plugin later and see if that fixes it.

    @edwardcross I removed the plugin and reinstalled it completely. Still the same behaviour. I don’t understand it. It is sending the mails perfectly. Just the reply-to is not working.

    @dyin what mail client are you using,is it outlook?

    Thread Starter dyin

    (@dyin)

    @edwardcross yup Outlook on windows. I tried several pc’s and I even tried the web version. All the same

    What version of my plugin are you using?

    Thread Starter dyin

    (@dyin)

    @edwardcross the latest version of everything:
    CF7 5.4.1
    Woocommerce 5.3.0
    Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer 1.4.7
    and your plugin: 5.4.1

    @dyin version 5.4.1 of my plugin (I’m still on 1.x versions)?

    (@dyin)

    @edwardcross woops sorry. Wrong copy&paste. It is V1.7.1
