    Hello there,
    There is a bug in the WP Captcha plugin. When we turn off the security image for the forgotten password page in the plugin settings and save the settings, it does not turn off and remains active.
    Please update the plugin and fix this bug.

    It remains active in settings as in “not saved” or it gets saved but still shows on the forgotten password page?

    I’m Alex, the lead dev for WP Captcha. I tested disabling each “Where to show” option and I had no issues. Can you let me know what version of the plugin you are using?
