Report summary not updating % complete

    The Reporting tools are great. But on the top level summary (all students) the percentage complete is not updating after courses have been added. The detail report for one student updates correctly.

    Scenario:
    Student enrolls and completes lessons in two courses.
    The percentage complete displays as 33.33%
    More courses are added.
    Student enrolls in three more courses.
    Student completes all courses.
    The percentage complete displays as 33.33% – no change on the summary page
    But on the detail page for the student, it shows 100% complete (correct)

    We have a TON of data to crunch on these screens and the percentages are really expensive queries so we “cache” some the query results. It sounds like the cache isn’t being updated correctly so I’ll take a closer look at that later today or early next week.

    However, to get you moving today, please *clear the cache* You can do this by heading to LifterLMS -> Settings and scrolling to the “Tools” area on the bottom of the screen.

    There’s a tool that says “Clear Student Progress Cache” — click the clear cache button for that and next time you visit the reporting screen the data will be regenerated.

    I believe this issue could be related to the background process that is supposed to be regenerating that number automatically but I’m not positive.

    That should help a bit while I find the root.
