    Please tell us:

    – What’s the “author” name?
    – what theme you are referring to?

Go to the #themereview channel and report it there in Slack. That is the best way to report that sort of behavior.

According to your site, you’ve licensed this theme under the GPL. That means that anyone can use, modify, and distribute your theme under the terms of the GPL.

So, yes, you explicitly do allow this.

If you do not want people distributing your code, you should not distribute it under an open-source license.

With that said, we do not allow direct copies of themes in our directory. However, we do allow forks of themes. If this is merely a fork, it will be allowed in the directory if the licensing and copyright are in order and it meets all other requirements.

If your claim is that this is a direct copy of the theme and not a fork, please PM me a copy of the original source code for your theme via Slack. I’ll be happy to look it over and determine what, if anything, needs to be done about the theme that’s being submitted to the directory.
