• Recently, my blog was listed as a google attack site. I haven’t edited anything on the blog, nor do I know how to. I’ve only been posting normal updates. The only thing google can suggest is accessing their product, Webmaster Tools, and running a scan on the site. The problem is that you need to embed a line of code provided by them into the site to confirm you actually own it.

Aside from that, I’ve contacted Google through the website I’ve linked to below but it doesn’t seem as if that is a reliable fix.

I’m not sure what else to do from here. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or is there something I can check? Thanks for any help.

    Here is my blog:

  • A quick look at your source code doesn’t show any hacking code, but it can still be there. The warning might also be bleedover from another site on the same sharded server.

    Try https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/exploit-scanner/

In Webmaster’s Tools, you can verify your site with Google by uploading simple file via FTP (rather than add the metatag that Google suggests) and then requesting a review in Webmaster’s Tools.

If you do find hacking code, see FAQ: My site was hacked ? WordPress Codex and How to completely clean your hacked wordpress installation

And talk to your web host inmotionhosting.com. They’ve been hacked before, as many shared hosts have.

I had same problem in one of my files in root and was settings.php.

Google did not block my site but when I try to go my website I was getting error. I searched and goggled what was causing the problem I even replaced wp-admin and wp-includes folder even than the problem was still there so I looked into settings.php file and at bottom there was a code that was not suppose to be there took it out and my website was up.

Since your main root is blocked check index.php file in your root and see if there is anything there at bottom may be the melware in question is in there.
