Sorry, I just noticed they do appear, but only on the main dashboard as opposed to the sidebar menu. I’ll explore how to add them to the menu.

The menu allows admins to view and edit the reports and permissions. This is very powerful, as you could modify the SQL to do almost anything to the database, so it is restricted to just admins.

The dashboard reports can be viewed by other levels that you have granted access to (but not modified by them). This gives you the ability to show a given report to a given role without creating a huge security vulnerability.

Please let me know if you have specific needs beyond that. Maybe I can work something out for you.

I guess I was looking for a view only version of the menu. I think I can use an admin menu editor to accomplish this. This way they can see the list of reports in their sidebar menu.

The view-only options are to either use a dashboard widget or to display on a page/post using the shortcode. I’m still not exactly sure what your desired result is but I believe you could get what you want using restricted pages that have the shortcodes on then and linking to those page (maybe even directly from the admin menubar).

Let me know if you figure it out of if you need more help.

Thanks, I was able to create a role protected page and an admin menu editor to accomplish this.
