Repurpose

  • Is it possible to re purpose this plugin to instead of connecting to a database directly; just passing a html string with the login and password to a web service for authentication.

    Today we have a web service that will accept the login and password and is able to respond with a value of Y or N.

    If Y I would like to be able to proceed with logging the user into the WordPress site, and if N just echo back an error on the login page.
