You might want to reach out to the?Mollie Support Team?to pass on your ideas on how to make the plugin better. We did pass on this request internally, but for any more advanced feature or payment method suggestions, getting in contact with them directly is the advised route.

It’s a sad o read the above reaction from Mollie. I also don’t think we can expect anything from Mollie in the coming years. Apple Pay fast checkout is not even possible.

The fact that it is not on the roadmap. Bizarre. Making a lot of noise that the new iDeal is coming, but not following through and developing these wonderful new functions.

Have you found another partner / solution that does support this?

Firstly, please note that we are not Mollie itself but the development team behind the Mollie Payments for WooCommerce plugin, which we develop on behalf of Mollie. While we strive to incorporate the latest features, we are dependent on the functionalities that the Mollie platform provides.

Regarding iDEAL Snel bestellen, this specific feature is not currently supported by the Mollie platform. As such, it’s not something we can implement in the plugin at this time. We have raised the request with Mollie and once Mollie adds support for this feature in the future, we will certainly consider integrating it in the plugin.

It’s also important to distinguish between iDEAL 2.0 and iDEAL Snel bestellen. While the plugin already supports iDEAL 2.0 as of the latest version, iDEAL Snel bestellen is a separate functionality aimed at streamlining the checkout process even further.

Concerning Apple Pay Express Checkout, we’d like to clarify that the plugin already supports Apple Pay express payments on the Single Product, Classic Cart, and Block Cart pages. We understand that a smooth and quick checkout process is vital for both merchants and customers.

Support for the Apple Pay Express button on the Block Checkout page has been delayed due to technical reasons we can’t elaborate on at the moment. However, we’re pleased to inform you that this functionality is scheduled to be released in an update before the holidays, expected in late October or early November.
