REQ: Restore sidebar on “Write Post” page

this is my main complaint with 2.5 ….. this was a few steps in the wrong direction……….a plugin to fix this is BOUND to pop up soon….

There is a WordPress Hack which is simple to implement for this issue made by Judy at persistentillusions.com 04/16/08 archive to make your Write post/page screen look pre-2.5 at

Basically it involves upload a few php files and a css file to wp-admin folder plus refreshing the page. I logged out and after log in, viola! the write screen I love was back to mama ?? I just couldn’t bear using WordPress as a CMS and scrolling down a frame with 6 entries at a time to select from 60+ categories. I hope this helps you till a wordpress plugin comes along.
