• Okay so I am using your plug-in to automatically set future images when posts are automatically created and published.

My problem is that I am pulling images from Instagram. Since Facebook took over more actively the development of Instagram they have been fucxxxx around with the image API quite a lot and sometimes the links to the images get broken.
On numerous occasions I have to relink quite a lots and this takes a lot of time.

My request would be if it is at all possible to build function for this plug-in to automatically pulled the image down from its original URL and save it locally, then replaced the URL hopefully the original external URL with the local one?

I know that I have used a plug-in many years ago they did just this but I don’t remember the name of it. Maybe someone else out there can recommend something that works? To do just this. That will obviously you work with FIFU.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi, @otechwebmaster.

Thanks for the suggestion. Indeed, Facebook is doing that…

Many users have requested this feature before, but I always was against it, because the plugin was created exactly to make the featured images external and not internal.

This month I’m busy with the integration between FIFU and WP-CLI and there are other things happening but maybe next month it can be done. However, I can’t promise it will be a free feature. I need to analyze that.

    Maybe as a separate plug-in?

Maybe a feature in the FIFU Premium, @otechwebmaster.

I’m trying to keep the free version only with the essential features.

    It’s finally done, @otechwebmaster.
