Request – add comment into media files datavbase

  • I was wondering if you would consider this feature enhancement for the plugin.

    Options to have comment information written into specific fields of the media library, perhaps with a sort of template.

    For instance, I would like if the media library title and ALT tag could be filled in with “Picture uploaded by [commenters name].” And I’d like if the description and/or caption could be filled in with the full comment text that was posted with the picture originally.

    I create galleries from my visitor’s picture uploads, and having this information already filled in for the pictures would be a huge timesaver, saving me from copying and pasting all that info from the comments.

    By the way, I emailed you about donating some time ago, but never got a reply.

    Thank you for the suggested ideas to improve the plugin!

    I think, we are ready to consider these enhancements and implement them in our plugin in future. Most likely, this feature will be implemented optionally.

    I up vote also for this, it would be great to have text in the images, when users upload image it would at least show some text like in booking.com galleries. this is the best images plugin so far, so gonna follow this one closely, Donations and beers on me :D.
