REQUEST – [catlist name=mycategory my_children]
-
Hi,
I like the clarity and elegance of your plugin. But I was not able to do what I wanted …
I want to list only a specified category, but only my page’s child pages.
Example —
Wordpress Site: Noodle Shops of America
Page for each State: Example, OregonFat Noodle Shops
Bend Fat Noodle Shop Ie: category=fatnoodles
Portland Fat Noodle Shop Ie: category=fatnoodles
Roseberg Fat Noodle Shop Ie: category=fatnoodles
(All these pages are children of the “Oregon” page)Skinny Noodle Shops
Ashland Skinny Noodle Shop Ie: category=skinnynoodles
Bend Skinny Noodle Shop Ie: category=skinnynoodles
Medford Skinny Noodle Shop Ie: category=skinnynoodles
Portland Skinny Noodle Shop Ie: category=skinnynoodles
(All these pages are also children of the “Oregon” page)I attempted to display child pages organized this way with the existing parameter choices, but was unable to do it. (If I’ve been blind, please guide me to wisdom.)
If possible, I think it would be generally useful to add a parameter to specify “children,” “siblings,” or “parent.”
Might this be possible?

PPS: I used another plugin called “add category to pages” to enable categories for the pages.
