• I’m a happy user of pixproof and use it with its password protected feature so wedding couples (and their friends) can see the full shoot on my website before getting the originals. Currently I e-mail the album-short-link together with the password to my clients.

What I’d like is a landing page (for example https://www.mysite.com/clients) in which the password AND album name can be entered (like logging into webmail) to get access to an album. This would allow me to put a “clients” button on the homepage of my website (looks professional!), instead of e-mailing the direct link + password to each client.

This way everyone who wants to see an album, first gets to the homepage of my website (instead of directly to the album) – seeing my homepage makes people remember my site better.

Keep up the good work & thanks!

    Hi,

This sounds like a great feature but it does require a lot of work.
I’ve noted this in our todo list and we will see.

I’m really sorry for this late response, I’ve been caught into a big project since now.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

I had bought a theme (Border) with the Pixproof plugin thinking it had the landing page feature. Though still immensely satisfied, would definitely love a landing page feature. It would eliminate clutter on the menu since there’ll only be one link rather than a parent and multiple child links.

A suggestion would be to maybe just have the same password input, but depending on the password typed, it’ll redirect them to the appropriate client’s page (Similar to photoproofpro.com; would use their service but I’d rather have everything in my site). I’m code-challenged, so I don’t know if this feature would be easier or harder.

    Great work so far euthelup!

I too would love a landing page, has this progressed any further?
