    Hello,

I realize you can filter cron jobs based on their type (core, custom, etc.) but it would be nice to have a way to highlight / color or identify cron jobs for special cases. In the case of custom, there are cron jobs by plugins and cron jobs which I’ve created. I’d like to highlight my own with a different color in the list. I hope you will consider this idea in a future release.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll be honest, it’s unlikely I’ll add this feature because keeping track of the source for a cron event is much more difficult than you might think. If you add a recurring event through WP Crontrol then after the first time it’s run it gets rescheduled by WordPress core. At that point it’s not possible to distinguish between an event added through WP Crontrol or elsewhere.

    Sorry!

I definitely do not claim to know much about the programming. I was just hoping you could add a way to assign colors to cron titles. I see that the plugin can retrieve job titles because it displays them. I didn’t really think it’d be much effort to add a way to highlight or arrange them simply based on their name.
