Request for payFast gateway integration

Thanks for the question regarding the new cart and checkout blocks and how they work with payment methods like PayFast.

I would say that once these blocks are a part of WooCommerce core and become the default way to create those pages, all payment methods will follow suit.

There are current ways for payment methods to integrate with these blocks, but until those methods are locked in place you likely won’t see wide adoption. All that to say is that with some time and patience it’ll be possible. Thanks for the response.

The thing is that Payfast has already integrated with these blocks (their previous update allows for this) but there is a JavaScript error on the page currently preventing their payment option from showing. I have added a link to said page if you’d like to see what I mean.

Thanks for the additional info, I wasn’t aware we’d added support for these blocks to our PayFast plugin.

I see from a thread on the PayFast plugin itself we’d asked if you could create a ticket for us to work further on the issues you’re seeing. Had you done that already too?

We’d be glad to find that ticket and help work on the issues that way. ??
