Request for rating doesn’t go away

  • Honestly, I’m quite close to giving this plugin a one-star review because it started asking for a review on www.ads-software.com: “Hey, it’s great to see you have WP Maintenance Mode & Coming Soon active for a few days now. How is everything going? If you can spare a few moments to rate it on www.ads-software.com it would help us a lot (and boost my motivation). Cheers!”

    And no matter whether I click on the “X” or the “No, thanks” or the “OK, I will gladly help” button – the request doesn’t go away. I really don’t want to be pestered.

    Yeah, those messages started as soon as the plugin was taken over by Themeisle, as far as I can tell. That’s when I first noticed this and other annoying messages on various pages in my admin console. I deactivated the plugin and will delete it now because the annoyances of the messages is not worth the benefit of this plugin. Plus, if Themeisle is going to immediately start putting these messages up, I don’t have faith in the new developers. I think support may have stopped also.
